Business Development Manager – Sydney 

Aurion Corporation is one of Australia’s leading integrated HR Solution companies that provides products and services to a range of blue-chip companies and government organisations.

We are currently seeking to recruit an exceptional business development professional who can lead the sales and business development initiatives and be rewarded for their contribution and achievements.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Business Development Manager is responsible for the achievement of a sales revenue budget through the generation and maintenance of a sales pipeline. You will be responsible for general business development, on-site account management, and presentations to clients outlining the Aurion approach to solutions and services.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Build and maintain a sales opportunity pipeline sufficient to meet sales revenue targets;
  • Maintain high-level relationships with customers and partners;
  • Managing existing customers;
  • Preparation and delivery of effective demonstrations from Board Level through to Subject Matter Experts (SMEs);
  • Deliver and promote strong sales support and account management;
  • Manage and improve customer perceptions through site visits etc;
  • Provision of accurate sales projections.

Key Skills & Attributes

The successful candidate will have a solution-selling background (not just a product background) and the ability to work as part of a team, as well as an ability to work autonomously. Experience and desire to work with senior decision-makers with a proven track record of success at this level is essential.

You will demonstrate a successful new business and account management track record and be comfortable cold calling potential clients.

A key attribute will be the ability to drive new ideas and provide innovative solutions. You will have excellent negotiation and superior presentation, verbal and written communications skills.
The Person

To be successful in this role you will have a proven track record in delivering outstanding sales results at a high level within a blue chip client base and at least five (5) years Senior Business Development Management experience working for a top tier Applications vendor. You will be a highly motivated and confident self starter who will enjoy working in a team environment and you will thrive on achieving targets and goals. Tertiary qualifications are preferred.
