Aurion Professional Services

Aurion prides itself on having an impeccable implementation success rate, for on time, in budget implementations. Our Professional Services Team work to our internally developed “ProManage” implementation methodology. Aurion typically adopts a 'light footprint, low impact' implementation model. This involves working closely with our clients own resources and providing expert Aurion resources to effect knowledge and skills transfer.

Aurion ProManage has been developed from industry standards and best practices. It includes the approach, procedures and deliverable templates that are customised to control, deliver and complete a project. The use of Aurion ProManage ensures that Aurion not only has the overall capability but also the project management and software implementation knowledge and experience to provide clients with the services needed to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements Analysis

The Requirements Analysis phase is focused on Aurion Corporation understanding the client’s organisation and the overall business processes at a high level, so that project development is based on informed decision-making. It also focuses on helping the client to understand Aurion, our processes and the way we work.

Project Team/Key User Training

Training for Key Users (Project Team members) in the use of Aurion continues through all phases of the implementation. The Key User is the member of your staff who will largely determine how Aurion is implemented and may also be involved in training other staff in how to use the other modules of the system. Aurion can also provide this service for you.

Detailed Analysis & Design

During this phase, the Aurion Project Team, with assistance from key users, will complete the detailed design required to support objectives from the Requirements Phase. Detailed configuration plans for implementing are finalised with key personnel and signed off prior to the Configuration Phase starting. Requirements for data migration, conversion, interfaces, custom forms and reports are also completed.

This analysis and design stage is the most important in the implementation, as the client’s detailed requirements are examined to determine how Aurion will be configured in order to function appropriately and efficiently for the client.

This includes:

  • Analysis of documented current HR processes
  • Analysis of Awards or Enterprise Bargaining Agreements currently in force
  • Data Migration requirements
  • Interface requirements
  • Review of current processes used to identify changes
  • System output requirements.

Configuration

During this phase, the project team will configure the Aurion system in accordance with the agreed detail design. This process is undertaken together with individual key users.

Test

The Test Phase concentrates on performing the functional and operational tests in order to verify the configured system. Your Key Users normally undertake these functional and operational tests, which were developed in the previous phase.

Delivery

At the end of the Test phase, the Aurion implementation is completed and a formal sign off process occurs. At this point, the project will be handed over to the Client Project Sponsor.

Post Implementation Support

Following completion of the technical and functional Aurion implementation, a further ongoing phase begins.

This phase is Post Implementation Support which includes:

  • Introduction to Support
  • Post Implementation Review
  • Hand over to the Aurion Account Manager assigned to our clients.

The Post Implementation Phase is designed to ensure that Aurion Corporation and Aurion software continue to meet the needs of our clients well after the Aurion Professional Services Project Team delivers the end-to-end solution.
